LUXURY HOTEL IN TABOGA PANAMÁ

We’ve dined like kings all week, but lunch with you - all carried along on such a happy tide of conversation and laughter - was the best meal ever. And so much fun too. Thanks very much for that and for so many other blessings. I’ve stayed in many fine hotels (including all of the top luxury brands) but Villa Caprichosa, in my books, far exceeds all of them. Every aspect, right down to the smallest detail of your hotel, both inside and out, is extraordinarily pleasing to the eye. But what makes this place even more special is the people. Rarely, if ever, have we been treated so royally and with such genuine warmth and kindness from every single member of your absolutely splendid staff. The owner Diane is like an ethereal goddess floating about in elegant attire, warmly greeting personally all her guests. The villa is like stepping back into a more civilized world. The architectural details and artistic touches were much appreciated. The staff is very attentive and friendly. The food is exceptional. Be sure to order the fish tacos on the lunch menu. The little village of Taboga is charming. I loved peeking in the flowery little yards to see colorful roosters and hens with their chicks. Grackles whistle and call, mockingbirds run through their complex repertoire, bougainvillea in all manner of colors grace the walls and fences as you make your way to the playa. The wind carries with it flower blooms for a very romantic vibe. At the beach the ships waiting to enter the canal gives you an interesting view. Enterprising locals offer umbrellas and chairs, coconut drinks, and impromptu massages. 10/10 will return for sure.

The view outside our room was spectacular. Our room was the Champagne room and was very comfortable, it had a little kitchenette with small frig. Breakfast was excellent and served till 10:30 every morning. There was a choice of items that were complimentary such as eggs, waffles, bread, yogurt and granola besides coffee and tea and a few items you could purchase like bacon or sausage, croissants, etc. It was served right outside your room on your veranda. It was beautiful. Everywhere you went the views were stunning. You can see the ships in the bay waiting to go through the Panama Canal. At night they were all lit up. Since we stayed 7 nights and ate there every night we always had delicious new dinners and some favorites. We were also able to see the other rooms when not occupied and there isn't a room I wouldn't stay in. The Crown Jewel is the best by far and value priced. We spent an evening with some other quests on the veranda with the private pool and it was wonderful. I would definitely have spent the extra money to stay in that suite but it was booked solid and our room which was great was the only one available but the Crown Jewel was over the top. There were a lot of steps at the villa and I was having trouble with my SI joints and recently had back surgery so it was a little difficult for me but I managed and wouldn't have changed a thing.
